Seen the doc today to make sure I won’t keel over, not that there is a chance i will be going quick enough for that. First ‘proper’ run on Tuesday in 4 weeks. Felt like absolute sh*te, but Thursday was a quick Tabata sesh followed by some hill sprints this morning and my confident head is back on. Zero pains and niggles! 10km tomorrow complimented with a 2hr run Sunday and that sees me through to my ‘taper’ week. Unfortunately a taper week is for people who have had a tough few months of training so it’s more of a DO NOT PANIC TRAIN week…

I also got my hands on some TDT performance and recovery spray http://transdermaltechnology.co.uk/ made by a guy I look up to in the fitness industry, Ben Coomber. The performance spray definitely works for me and the recovery spray will come into its own during the weekend I hope. Make sure you read the label properly though! I learnt the hard way after a hot shower..
